First Oakville Toastmasters meets on Thursday evenings, starting on the Thursday following Labour Day in September and ending for a summer break on the Thursday preceding Victoria Day in May.  On the 3rd Thursday* of each month, the club conducts meetings in a dinner meeting setting.  For time and type of upcoming meetings, please see our Club Schedule to review our schedule* for the season.

At First Oakville Toastmasters, members learn by speaking to groups and by working with mentors in a supportive environment.  A typical Toastmasters meeting is made up of 20 to 30 people who meet once a week for approximately 2 hours.  Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluation.
